Dorothy Jean Willingham, 72, of Asheville, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at her residence. A native of Buncombe County, she was married to the late William Willingham and was retired from the City of Asheville. Survivors include four sons, William Metcalf and his wife Kathy, of Asheville, Dale Cassada and his wife, Kathy of Pomaria, SC, David Metcalf and his wife Lisa of Asheville, Charles Willingham of Asheville; a daughter, Pamela O'Kelley of Asheville; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, James Cassada of Asheville; one sister Shirley Dozier and her husband, J.C. of Asheville; special daughter-in-law, Kelly (Metcalf) Bonn and her best friend, Becky Hensley of Asheville. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. prior to the service.
