Dorothy Marie Clark Gosnell

Dorothy Marie Clark Gosnell, 85, of Alexander, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018. A native of Buncombe Co., Dorothy was a daughter of the late William and Violet Lyerly Clark. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rollins Gosnell, daughter, Teresa Lee, and a brother, Bill H. Clark. Surviving are her daughter, Karen Gosnell Babb and husband, Raymond; sister, Shirley Wilson; and a brother, Jim Clark (Judy). Funeral services for Mrs. Gosnell will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dr. Michael McFarland officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 51 Wilburn Pl., Asheville, NC 28806. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.
