Dorothy Mitchell Cabe

DOROTHY CABE Dorothy Mitchell Cabe, 81, formerly of Asheville, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 7, 2009, in Lansing, MI. Mrs. Cabe was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late James and Pearl Bradley Mitchell. She was married to Herbert Cabe who died in 2002. She is survived by a son, David Cabe and his wife, Nan, of Lansing, MI, two granddaughters and three great-grandchidlren; one sister, Peggy (Al) Wielock of Interlachen, FL; and one sister-in-law, Helen (Willie) Pressley of Fletcher. Graveside services will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cane Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Donald N. Welborn officiating. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting with the arrangements.
