Black Mountain - Earl Hugh Davis, 76, of 101 Lion’s Way, died Friday, April 5, 2002 in the VA Medical Center.
A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Edna Baldwin Davis and Hugh M. Davis. Mr. Davis was an Army veteran and a member of the DAV. He was a former employee of Sayles Biltmore Bleachery.
Earl is survived by one brother, Charles J. Davis of Flint, Michigan.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am Monday in the Calvary Churchyard conducted by the Buncombe County Veterans Council Memorial Team.
