  7. Garnet and ‘Butch’s’ Family,
I was distressed to read about Butch and called Jean and Easy Ezell when I saw it. She was so full of vim and vitality the last time we talked I couldn’t believe she was gone. Garnet, we started to school at Vance in 1932 and before long you had two little sisters riding that bus from Enka with you. For years I didn’t know that Dopey Greer and Easy Ezell were your cousins. The only comfort right now comes from a Faith in the Sovereingty of God and the concern of caring friends. Please know we are thinking of you.
