Eileen Drabus Riske

Eileen Riske, 90, of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 2, 2008 at the Elizabeth House Hospice. She was born in Oshkosh, WI and was the daughter of the late Frank and Maria Hoffman Drabus. She was preceded in death by a husband Clarence Riske. She moved to Kenmare, ND at a young age and returned to Oshkosh and attended business college. She and her husband moved to Hendersonville in 1989. She was a member of Living Savior Lutheran Church. She is survived by a daughter, Barb Kirtley and her husband Doug of Horse Shoe, NC; a brother, Lawrence Drabus of Kenmare, ND; two grandsons, Scott Wischow and his wife Melisa and Troy Wischow and his wife Krissy, all of Hendersonville and five great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Living Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor John Qualmann officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Eileen's memory to Living Savior Lutheran Church Building Fund, 301 Overlook Road, Asheville, NC 28803 or to the Elizabeth House, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
