Eliza Elizabeth Marlor McMahan, 95, of Leicester, NC, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021, at the WNC Baptist Home.

A native of Madison Co., Eliza was a daughter of the late Preston and Nellie Ballew Marlor. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Charles Dale McMahan and Donald McMahan, by four sisters, and four brothers.

Surviving are her daughters, Barbara Surrett (the late Gerald Surrett) and Maxine McMahan; sons, Bruce McMahan (the late Cheryl McMahan) and Ronald McMahan (JoAnn); 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Howard Marlor; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Jones Valley Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
