Ms. Cole was born May 12, 1958, in Asheville, to the late Furman Edwin Cole and Ada Barker Cole.

She is survived by her brother, George E. Cole of Asheville.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Groce United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gerald Davis officiating.
