Ellena Joy Page

Ellena "Joy" Page, 66, of Asheville, died Monday, April 7, 2014, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center. A native of Asheville, she was a daughter of the late Edwin James and Laura Elizabeth Wallace Ashton. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Ashton. Mrs. Page worked in the food service industry for a number of years, including the Reynolds High School Cafeteria and at several area restaurants. She is survived by her husband, Ernest "E.J." Page; daughter Lynn Page DeVore and husband Michael; son Ernest "Eric" Page; grandchildren Amber Lee Page, Emiliegh Rose Wilhelm, Jaydan James Wilhelm, Tyla Nichole DeVore, and Kayla Marie DeVore; and sisters Dottie Stelzer and Edna Hill and husband Chester. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
