Elva G. Ingle

Mrs. Ingle was a native of Buncombe County, was a daughter of the late Perry J. and Susan Burgess Green, and was married to Leonard Ingle who died in 1979. She served for 27 years as church secretary at Grace Baptist Church where she was also a charter member, WMU member, and active in the Amazing Grace Senior Adult Group.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy I. and Bill W. Shook of Candler and Elaine I. and Burnie Duncan of Asheville; one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Joyce Ingle of Weaverville; seven grandchildren, Steven Shook, Stuart Shook, Beverly Berger, David Ingle, Jeff Ingle, Keith Duncan, and Kim Wilkie, and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. J. Derrill Smith officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home and at other times will be at the home of Elaine Duncan, 86 Debra Lane.
