To the Shuford Family:
Ms Shuford taught my brother and me in the sixth grade. Not at the same time, but both of us had her as a teacher. Ms Shuford was a great teacher and her influence has been living on for generations. She taught more than subject matter. She taught us how to live a good life and to live it abundantly. My brother, Richard, and I send our deeepest sympathies to the Shuford family.
Blessings to all,
Tommy Koontz

Sorry about Mrs. Shuford, but we know she is in a better place. She taught me in 6th. grade and every one that knew her loved her. She was such a wonderful Christian person. It would be selfish of us to want to keep her here, but we sure will miss her presents. Will be rembering you in my prayers, Love to all, Tony Hensley
Mrs. Shuford was my 6th grade teacher at Biltmore. I still have and use many of her art patterns for holiday celebrations. I am so sorry for your loss.
Mrs. Shuford was my all-time favorite teacher. She was one of only two teachers at Biltmore who taught all four McMinns….my three brothers and me. She, also, was my mother\\\’s best buddy when they taught together at Biltmore. This beautiful lady has moved on to a better place but leaves us with loving memories of our days with her at Biltmore.
It is 2021 and in rembering my favorite teachers ever,Mrs Shuford was one of mine. I had her inthe 6th grade st Biltmore Elementary. I had never seen snow as we had moved there from Florida. I will never forget that she stopped class and took all of us to big windows a floor below. I was just following obediently as a child. It was all for me. She had me stand at the window with the class surrounded to witness my first snowfall. I was there this summer and drove to the back of the school to relive with love that memory.
