Barbara and Dan, we heard today about your mother’s death. We know you were very faithful in your visits with her at Pisgah Manor. B. C.’s daughter, Stephanie, works there and directed us to Emma when we were up there in the fall of 2005.
Emma was always a very sweet lady and will be remembered as such.
Barbara and Dan,
Some of my fondest memories of my childhood took place at Harry and Emma’s store. Us children used to hang out there, always welcomed by their smiles and generosity. They were pillars of the community and were always willing to lend a hand, or a loaf of bread, to those in need.
Me and my family loved them, and they will always have a special place in our hearts. We’re proud to have been a part of this family and to know that their legacy will be carried on by both of you.
Barbara and Dan,
We are saddened to hear of Emma’s passing. Please know you are in our prayers and thoughts during this time
