A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late James and Dozie Hare Couch. She was a retired employee of American Enka.
Mrs. Case is survived by three daughters, Ruby Chapman of East Flat Rock; Frances Fisher and her husband C.H. of Concord, NC, Levita Blankenship and her husband Frank of Weaverville: two sisters, Bonnie Barnwell of Fairview and Addlee Sluder of LaMesa, Calif., five grandchildren, eight great-granchildren and five great-great granchildren.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Patty’s Chapel Church Cemetery conducted by the Revs. William Clodfelter and G. Scott Lynch. The family will be at the home of Levita Blankenship 20 Hamburg Lane, Weaverville.
