Ervin Marcus Merrill, 101, formerly of 28 Merrills Cove Road, died Monday, May 2, 2005 at Lexington Medical Center.
Mr. Merrill was a son of the late Louise Garren and Marcus Merrill. He was also preceded in death by his wife Laura Merrill. He was a native and long time resident of Merrills Cove, moving to Lexington, S.C. ten years ago.
He is survived by his two sons, Kenneth Merrill of Lexington, S.C. and Lewis Merrill of Cleveland, GA; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Tweed’s Chapel Cemetery in Fairview conducted by the Reverend Dr. Stephen Harris.
The family requests no flowers and no memorials at this time.
