Ethel L. Searsey

Ethel L. Searsey, 89, of Candler, died Friday, December 8, 2000 in a local nursing facility. A native of Transylvania County, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Katie Wilson Searsey. She was a retired employee of American Enka. Her survivors include half sisters, Irene Collins, and Thelma Taylor; half brothers, Leroy, Elmer, and Dillard Searsey and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2:00 Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Reverend Jack Ward will officiate. Groce Funeral Home, Patton Avenue is in charge of arrangements.
