Eva Mae Case

Eva Mae McTaggart Case, 76, of 82 Pisgah View Road, Asheville, died Wednesday, January 16, 2002, at a local hospital. A native of Cobb County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Lock and Anne Sharpe Hutchinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Case, who died in 1983. Survivors include two daughters, Audrey Case and Linda Hutchinson and her husband Terry, both of Asheville; five sons, Charles Arthur Case, Roy “Buddy” Case and Ronnie Case and his wife Loretta, all of Asheville, Glenn Case and Thomas Case and his wife Linda, all of Detroit, MI; a brother Bowen McTaggert of Asheville and a sister, Lib Fortune of Asheville; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-three great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend Woody Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
