Flora Lee Pack Patterson, 80, of Fairview, died Saturday, March 14, 2015.
A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy Pack. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Edwards, a brother, Richard Pack, and an aunt, Alma Benson.
Mrs. Patterson was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and more recently Fairview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her husband of almost 62 years, Calvin Patterson; sister, Florence Christopher; children, Tony Patterson and wife Martha, Jean Whitson and husband David, and Dottie King and husband Lonnie; grandchildren, Adam King, Lindsey Harris and husband Daniel, Noah Patterson, Nathan Whitson and wife Whitney, and Jonathan Whitson and wife Shannon; great-grandson Cooper Harris; and her dogs, Cookie and Coco.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Carson Moseley and Pastor Todd Royal officiating. Interment will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
