Floy Bell Mull, 98, of 171 Fairfax Avenue, Asheville, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Hospice Solace Center.
Mrs. Mull was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Floyd and Emmy Baldwin. She was married to William Bryson Mull, Sr., who died in 1989, and was also preceded in death by a son, Jack B. Mull; two sisters, Annie Murphy and Ethel Fouts and two brothers, Floyd Baldwin and Gilbert Baldwin.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary L. Benson of Asheville; one son, William Bryson Mull, Jr. of Asheville; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Buddy Corbin, Chaplain, CarePartners Hospice, officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
