Francis Michael "Frank" Anello, 66, died Saturday, February 18, 2012, at St. Joseph Campus, Mission Hospital. A native of Hartford, CT, he was a son of the late Santo and Santina Migliore Anello. He was a veteran with the Connecticut National Guard, where he worked for 36 years. He and his wife, PJ, moved to Buncombe County in 2004. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Mark Anello of Los Angeles; daughter Corissa Anello (Basim Abadir) of Connecticut; brother, Sal Anello (Terry Anello); niece, Joanne Belanian and nephew, Michael Anello. Military honors by the NC National Guard will be presented at 5:00 Monday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue, after which the family will receive friends until 7:00 p.m. A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Foster Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Bryan Aalborg officiating.   4. I just wanted to share my deepest condolences and sympathies for the family. Frank and I worked and served together many years in the Guard. He was a mentor to me and a friend. Frank had a a heart of gold and a faith that was inspiring and it hit me hard when i heard yesterday. I know his faith lead him home to the loving arms of God .

  5. I am very sorry for the loss of Frank. I worked with Frank while he was working in the CT National Guard. I certainly enjoyed working with him. I appreciated his humor and the professionalism in which he conducted himself.
