Frank Glenn Daniel

Frank Glenn Daniel, 81, of 86 Daniel Ridge Road, Candler, died Saturday, July 10, 2004. Mr. Daniel was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Vernia Maude Daniel Earley. He was also preceded in death by his wife Inez Guy Daniel; two brothers, Donald Porter Daniel and Thurman Ray Earley, and by an aunt, Muriel Daniel, formerly of Candler, who helped raise him. He served in the Army Air Corps during WW II where he was stationed in Italy with the 747th Bomb Squadron. He was a retired driver with Southern Concrete and was a member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church. Surviving are his son, Glen Daniel of Candler and two brothers, Glenn William Earley and his wife Kathryn of Greensboro and Ralph Blaine Earley of Leicester. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Francis Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Fred E. Carpenter officiating. His family will receive friends from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Monday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
