Frank M. Morrison, 82, of Asheville, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015. Born in North Billerica, MA, he was a son of the late Gladys M. St John and Samuel Morrison and step-son of the late Manuel A. Pares. He was also preceded in death by three wives, Rita E. Morrison, Evelyn Morrison and Barbara L. Morrison. Frank proudly served his country as a Corporal in the US Marines Corps from 1948-1952. He went on to become a Regional Administrator with the US Securities and Exchange Commission of New York, retiring in 1989 with 26 years of service. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Frank is survived by one daughter, Diana L. Morrison Poole and her husband, Robert; two sons, Steve Morrison and his wife, Trudie and Michael P. Morrison, as well as three grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha and Alia. A funeral service and interment will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Lewis Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that memorial donations be made in Frank's name to either the American Cancer Society, PO Box 2271, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).

I know Heaven is a little brighter with the three of them together. May God’s loving Grace give you strength and may all the special memories give you Peace. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
