  1. Dear Mary and family, I just returned from Raleigh after a weeks stay at my son’s and did not know of Fred’s passing, please know that I share in your sorrow. 4. Mary, Sandra Kay,David and all of the special children, it is with a broken heart that I write this note, for there is no way to fill the void that this special gentleman left, but I also know that he walked the walk and talked the talk of our Lord and Savior. I, like you know that some day we will meet him again. Years have gone by so quickly since we became neighbors, but we always knew that you all loved us very deeply as we have and still love you ALL.Love you all, Mildred Rice Connor

  5. Our hearts and prayers are with all if you at this time in your life. May GOD give all of you the strength and hold you in HIS hands. Love and Prayers, Joey and Beannie

  6. The passing of Fred is a loss for many people and especially his family. We came to know the Walkers through our dear aunt and uncle Paul and Helen Israel. We saw them fairly often after we moved to NC in 1992.
We found Mary and Fred to be very generous ,kind, and thoughtful friends to almost everyone.
Declining health and family responsibilities kept us from seeing them as often in the last few years. But once you were friends with the Walkers you never forgot them.
Our heartfelt love and sympathy go to Mary and all the other family members.
We will miss him but when he met his Maker I am sure He said, ‘Well done My good and faithful servant’.
    With love,
    The Stallards

  7. A good friend always,
    You will be missed.
Life will not be the same,
    Till we meet again,
    I love you.

    Lew

  9. I didn’t know Fred well, but he was kind enough to share a couple of meals with me. My thoughts are with the family, I know a bunch of them and know they are hurting for their loss. God bless you all Cynthia Collins

  10. Dear David and family, We are so sorry to learn of your Dads passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sweet memories and the loving arms of Jesus will get you through. You know that he is in a better place and of a healed body and that you will see him again someday.

  11. Mary, David, Sandra Kay and all of the family…

Mother called last night to tell me about Fred’s passing. While I am sorry I can’t be at the service, my heart celebrates Fred’s life and the life-long relationship the Henderson family has had with the Walkers.

Mary and Fred are my godparents and I can’t remember a time when I did not know all of you. The stories are too many to share, but know that I cherish every one of them. My life is more complete because of Fred and all of you and I wouldn’t give up a single memory of the times we have shared.

May God send His Angels to hold you all in the safety of Their wings even as They welcomed Fred to the glory of the Father.

  12. Dearest Mary, Sandra Kay and David,
I’ve just learned of Fred’s death and it is now time for the service.
While this will leave a big void in your lives know that Fred and Mother are now sharing stories and enjoying each other once again.
Love and sympathy to all the family.

  13. We have your family in our prayers David. We love you and are sorry for your loss.
    Ronnie and Lisa Wilson
