Even though it took many years to find us, It seemed as if we were always a part of each others’ lives and you accepted us with open arms. You will be sorely missed by us all. Until we see each other again beyond this life, Rest In Peace, Uncle. The California Cothran Family
Although I had the pleasure of meeting Fred only a few times through his brother, Jack Dempsey, I found him to te kind man with a ready smile. I know that he had local friends who cared very much for him and were always willing to help. Rest in peace, Fred.
Sending condolences to the family. I had the pleasure working with Mr. Cothran at the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Department under Sheriff Morrissey. He was a wonderful man to work with, he always had a smile.
Think about you during this time of sorrow.
Bill and martha Revis.
So sorry to hear about your loss. Mr. Cothran was our next door neighbor on Mitchell Ave. We moved in 1973 but him and my dad remained good friends. Dad passed away in 1993, so I’m sure they are now swapping stories and making up for lost time. Tim Constance
