  5. We are so sorry to hear about Gary’s passing. We lived across the street from Gary and Linda on Hosta Court in the mid-2000s. He was always such a kind neighbor, and to this day our children (now in their late-teens) recall how nice he and Linda were to them when they were little. Even after we moved, Gary and Linda held a special place in our hearts. We will be keeping all of your family in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time.

  6. I worked with Gary for many years at Square D. He was a good friend and my brother in Christ after I came to know the Lord in 1978. Without a doubt we will see him again.

We worked together for many years at Square during the 70’s and for most of those years my wife (Idella) and I had the privilege of attending church with Gary and Linda in West Asheville. Our deepest condolences are extended to Linda and their entire family who’re dealing with the painful void created by a heart breaking loss of his physical presence.

  12. Gary was a coworker of mine at Continental. One of the things I remember about Gary was that he would volunteer at the annual golf tournaments at The Cliffs courses. I always thought that was a pretty classy thing to do. I missed Gary after I left Conti and will miss him even more now. I regret that I will not be able to attend neither the visitation nor the funeral, but I have prior commitments; I’m sure Gary would be OK with that. In my absence, prayers will follow. I trust the Lord is helping his family with this loss.

  13. On behalf of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and School, we extend our prayers to your family. We are blessed to have Grayson and Maddie Grace in our school. We have and will continue to keep all in our prayers through this time. We rejoice in the fact that Gary is with our Lord and rejoicing every day.

  14. So sad to hear of Gary’s Homegoing . Worked with him at Square D and my sons (David & Tim) were in school with your sons. Remembering you in prayer for today and the days ahead.

  15. Gary was such a nice and humble person. We will miss his smile and his wave. Our hearts and prayers are with the whole family.

  16. Linda, I’m so sorry to hear of Gary’s passing. Your family is in my prayers. I couldn’t help but reminisce and remember times of laughter and joy we shared together. You and Gary will always hold a special place in my heart. Much love to you.

  17. I worked with Gary for 6 years at Continental. He was extremely helpful. I moved to Morganton in 1998 and kept in touch somewhat until 15 yrs ago. Today while reflecting back Gary came to my mind and tried to contact but shocked to find that he has passed away. My deepest deepest condolences after almost 2 years. Very very sad loss. I still can’t believe how can that be
