George Thomas Hampton, Jr., 68, of Old Creedmoor Road, Raleigh, died Monday, December 22, 2008, in Raleigh.
Mr. Hampton was born in Asheville and was a son of the late George Thomas Hampton, Sr. and Hazel K. Hampton. He was the owner of Hampton Properties.
He is survived by his wife, Cissy Hampton; two daughters, Angela Hale (Alan) and Tiffany Lee (Brian); one son, Christopher Thomas Hampton (Toni); and three grandchildren, Anna Callista Hale, Henry Thomas Lee, and Maria Elizabeth Lee.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00p.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Raleigh. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Green Hills Cemetery in Asheville.
