Geraldine Iris Hall, 88, of Asheville, went home to the arms of Jesus on Monday, January 6, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born June 20, 1936 in Asheville, Geraldine was a daughter of the late George and Thelma Ward. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bill Hall, her brothers, Jack, Ross and Richard Ward, and sisters, Rita Ward, Sandra Sams and Susie Clark.

Mrs. Hall was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, and she retired from Square D. She loved the Lord, her family, and making flower arrangements. She also loved watching NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys, eating meals with her family, and attending church.

Surviving is her husband of 67 years, Frank Hall; son, Jeff (Susan); daughter, Marci (Jackie); grandchildren, Robbie, Dylan (Kasey) and Tanner (Taylor); great-grandchildren, Emersyn and Holston; and sisters, Ruby Smart and Dana Ward.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 14 at 4:00 p.m. in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Allen Rash officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
