Glenn Allen "Teddy" Rose, 60, of Arden, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center.
Teddy was faithful to his God and his church. He was a vital part of the church, serving in all ministries and was a soldier of the Cross. "Forward is the Lord's command".
A veteran, who served in the US Marines, he is survived by one daughter, Rachel Nicole Rose of Arden.
A tribute service will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, May 19, 2012 at Words of Life Tabernacle, 815 Glenn Bridge Road, Arden, NC 28704, with Pastor Carl Bishop officiating.
The family graciously asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to CarePartners Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813 or to Words of Life Tabernacle.

What a wonderful man. I was there when he accepted the Lord. No doubt in my mind he is with the Lord. He was such a happy man no matter when you saw him. He will be dearly missed.
Must have been a great Guy. I love his ‘do’!
I will always remember Brother Teddy as a man who loved the Lord and was not ashamed to share Him. I just thank the Lord that He gave me the opportunity to share in youth camp with Teddy and let me see the man Jesus was molding. Teddy I will miss you and I rejoice with you today that you are in the presence of our Lord Jesus! See you soon!

Teddy was one of a kind person that you just could not help but love. We thought of him often, but life and time in general separate friends. A long time has passed since seeing the Rose family, but we will meet again. Love & Prayers to you Nicole, as you were only a child since I last saw you. Caringly,
