Fletcher ~ Grady E. Mathew of Jones Road, died Sunday, April 20, 2008 in a Fletcher Hospital.
Grady was born on May 12, 1919 to Henry and Estelle Flynn Mathew and was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Bailey. He retired from Sayles Biltmore Bleachery and was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII.
Surviving is his wife, Grace Jones Mathew, his grandson, Keith Wilcocks and his wife, Lisa of Fletcher and his sister, Margie Griffin of Shelby.
A graveside service will be held 11:00a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard in Fletcher with the Reverend Victor Mansfield officiating.
