Harris E. "Hap" Siegel, 89, of Asheville, died on Sunday, February 12, 2017.
A native of New York, Mr. Siegel was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during both WWII and the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Siegel is survived by his wife, Janet; grandchildren, Anthony and Alyssa; and two great-grandchildren, Shane and Alaynah.
Mrs. Siegel is inviting friends and family to her home from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, to celebrate Hap's life.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
