  2. To Hazel’s Family,
Few people have touched my life or my heart the way that Hazel did. Her zest, her laughter, her earnestness, and her friendship stand as a measure I don’t expect will ever be matched again. I loved Hazel and she will always live in my heart. Love and blessings to each of you!

  3. My deepest sympanthy to the family. Hazel was a wounderful person. She will be missed. Jean s. Sherlin

  4. To Miss Hazel’s family,
I have worked at Pisgah Manor for two years now and for both years Miss Hazel has been a blessing to me. She helped my faith in God to grow more then I ever thought was possible. Miss Hazel helped me to understand that everyday is a blessing from God. I will deeply miss her and pray that God will be with you in this time of hardship.

  5. To Hazel’s Family,
I have worked at Pisgah Manor for about a year now, and went to see Hazel everyday! She was so sweet to me, and taught me so much about livin life to the fullest! I am very sorry for your loss, and I know that she will be missed greatly by me and all who worked with her.

  6. I work at Pisgah Manor. This is my first year working there. I just wanted to say Hazel was a blessing to me and I will never forget her. I was in her room everyday for as long as I could be in there. I will miss her so very much!!

  7. I work at Pisgah Manor, and I had the pleasure of knowing Miss Hazel. She was my favorite female resident on the 200 wing of Pisgah Manor. I left work Friday afternoon, and Monday someone came and told me that she was gone. I was saddened to hear that, but at the same time I was glad that she didn’t have to suffer anymore because she was in a lot of pain right before she died. I will never forget about her love for Coca-Cola, and I still hear her voice saying ‘scratch my back, honey’ every time I pass her old room. I can’t wait to see her in heaven!!!

  8. Every time I see a ‘love is…’ comic strip, I always think of Hazel. She knew that I liked them and clipped them from the newspaper every morning as she pulled the ‘tear sheets’ for advertising. I shared an office with her for several years at Ivey’s in Ashville until I moved to Charlotte. She was a very special lady to me and I will always have fond memories of her. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss.

  9. Anne, I worked with your Aunt many years ago at Iveys and have always considered her one of the special people in my life. She will be missed.
    Anne, Keith & Charlie
