Helen Houston Gilbart

Helen Gilbart, 95, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Mrs. Gilbart was a native of Charleston, WV and daughter of the late Hubert Todd and Frances McCutcheon Houston and also was preceded in death by her brother Hubie, her sister Cappy and her husband, Gordon Craig Gilbart. Helen and Gordon lived most of their lives in St. Petersburg, Florida with many cousins from both families. She is survived by two sons, John Gilbart and his wife Rebecca, of Asheville and Jerry Gilbart and his wife, Gail, of Springfield, Virginia; and 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, February 16 at the Whitakers Cemetery in Whitakers, NC.
