Guestbook

  1. I am really going to miss talking with a great friend and co-worker, but he is in a much better place and to Barbara I hope your trust and faith is a comfort during this hard time. May God bless and be with you. Herman always had a way to make anyone laugh at serious problems.. A great man.

    James R. Wykle..lucky to be a friend.

  2. Our sincere sympathy to Barbara and the family. Uncle Don will be missed, but I am comforted to believe he will be greeted by my Dad in Heaven!

  3. I am saddened to learn of Don’s passing. I worked with Don while at FDIC. I’ll never forget his 1959 Chevy wagon and his ‘lightning’ speed at typing.

  4. Barbara and boys,
May the Lord comfort you through these most difficult days when we struggle with letting go of our loved ones. May your memories and time bring you comfort and healing.
You are in my prayers to sing praises to God as Uncle Don is now resting and at peach with Jesus Christ our Savior and GOD our Creator. I love you so very much!
    Laura and Miller Nichols

  5. Real success consists in doing one’s duty well in the path where one’s life is led. Herman left us all better than when he found us.Herman was the best of the best.

  6. Barbara and family,

You knew, I’m sure, that Don treasured his family. He loved to speak of each of you on the countless road trips we enjoyed together. Don was a great person and will be missed. Best wishes to each of you.

  7. To Hermans family. He was one of a kind and I really enjoyed working with him at the Grove park. He will be missed by many and he always had a kind word for everyone. You will be missed. Jeff

  8. Brother-In-Law,
So glad we got to spend some quality time together this past June. Rest in peace sweet man.

    Your sister-in-law, Marilyn
