We’ll truely miss Herman, He was such a nice man. (Tara) I will miss Herman deeply because he kept me laughing and for me taking care of him for almost 5 years. The man was a true Angel and had alot of love to share and Thank God I got paired up with him. We had alot of fun the years I took care of him and there were several friends he introduced me to that were truely his friends and was there for him when no one else would be around.
For those who never got to know Herman missed out on alot and I’ll truely miss our conversations and our eating together. I know he’ll always be there to listen now.
i am the grand daughter of hermans uncle cleotis mcintosh. i met herman this last summer and fell in love with him on the spot. i do wish i could have spent more than just the one afternoon with him. he went with my mother and me and introduced us to mae hensley. then we went to the cemetery and visited his parents. he was such a delight. he looked and talked just like my uncle bill, cleotis’s son.
i was so upset when my mail was returned to me. mae has not written either. if anyone can help me contact mae or if anyone wants the genealogy information i have, please email me.
my best to the family of herman, i know you were proud of him.
