Hilda Leona White

Hilda Leona White, 63, of 301 Mt. Carmel Road, Asheville, died Wednesday, October 11, 2000 in a local hospital. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late, Chester and Essie Clubb Ingle. She was a member of Emma Baptist Church and was very loving and devoted to her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her survivors include a daughter, Mary Carmack of Asheville; sons, Chuck White and Danny White both of Candler, Bob White of Kodiac, AL; a sister, Ethel Williams of Alexander; brothers, Gene Ingle of Alexander, Carol Ingle of Weaverville, Earl Ingle of Gower, MO; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Revs. Bill Carpenter and John Honeycutt will officiate with burial following in Green Hills Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 7-8:30 Saturday at the funeral home.
