I was so sorry to hear of Buck’s passing. I grew up in west Asheville, played football with him, and considered him a friend. He was a super nice guy. May God be with all of you.
My heart goes out to Buck’s family and friends. I, too, went to school with Buck at Hall Fletcher and Lee Edwards.
When I would see him at Lowes, we would stop and chat of days gone by. He would always ask about my brother, Cris. We will miss you, Buck.

The few short years we had to share our wonderful friendship was way too short. We feel blessed to have known you. . .always finding that never-ending humor; you made us smile, and often laugh, even in the toughest times. You were such a kind and understanding man. The caliber of person you were is rare, this day and time. We miss you, Buck, and will never forget you.
With much sadness, I am sorry to hear of Buck’s death. We were in high school / homeroom and ASC(club) together and I always enjoyed his company and seeing him at our class reunions. My best wishes to the family on their loss of Buck.

To the family, I graduated from high school with Buck and remember him as a friendly and outgoing person. I recently saw him this past December and, as always, he had that great big smile on his face. He will be missed greatly. With my deepest sympathy, Dale
