  1. Hughie’s generosity, kindness, strength, and character will be greatly missed. My prayers go to his beloved family.

  2. I was so sorry to hear of your loss. It was my pleasure to have worked with your Father for several years at the weight station on I-26. Hughie was a good man and a good father, he will be missed by all that knew him.

  3. HUGHIE…WE HAVE LOST A REAL GOOD FRIEND, ONE WHO WAS THERE WHEN WE NEEDED HIM. WE SHALL NOT FORGET AND THANK YOU.

  4. Stephan & Matthew,
We just heard about your dad and were shocked. We had no idea he was sick. The last time we saw him at Bagwell’s, he looked so good, I never would have guessed that he was sick.
Our hearts go out to you; please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We have an auction in Charlotte tomorrow, so we won’t be able to attend visitation or funeral, but you will certainly be in our thoughts.
Please don’t hesitate to call if you need us for anything.
    Love, Ramona & Jerry King
