Inez Webb Rogers

Inez Webb Rogers, 89, of 334 South Turkey Creek Rd., Leicester, died Friday, June 8, 2007. A native of Buncombe Co., Mrs. Rogers was the daughter of the late Jim and Ida Belle Wells Webb. Mrs. Rogers was also preceded in death by her husband, W. Mack Rogers, who died in 2004, and by her grandson, Stephen Rogers. A graduate of Leicester High School, Mrs. Rogers retired from American Enka Corp. She was a member of Bell United Methodist Church. Mrs. Rogers is survived by her daughter, Mary Jo Ball, of Leicester; sons, Craig Rogers and wife Lynda, and David Rogers and wife Paula, both of Leicester; sister, Margaret Meadows, of Asheville; seven grandchildren, Scott Ball, Cindi Willis, Jenny Tolley, Jason Rogers, Chad Rogers, David B. Rogers, and Heather Rogers; and 11 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Bell United Methodist Church with the Revs George Davis and Charles Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the church?s cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
