In loving gratitude for her love in our lives, the family of Irene Greene Fox bids her farewell to be with her Lord January 15, 2015.
She touched the lives of everyone she met with her bright smile and friendly nature.
Love of her family was her reason for living. She leaves behind three daughters: Deena Pruitt and husband Garry, Deborah Fox-Smith and husband Dale, and Donna M. Fox; four grandchildren, Christie Hamlett, Mitchell Pruitt, Ember White, and Kaitlyn Smith; two great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Lewis and Nicholas Pruitt; her brother, Clenard Greene and wife Iva, sister, Christine Coffey, and brother, M.T. Greene; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Living for many years in a close knit neighborhood, her friends will miss her vegetable garden, flowers, and immaculate landscape.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Marshall, NC. Mr. Raymond Tweed will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall prior to the service.
The family is grateful to the entire Tweed family for the love and support they have provided.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to your favorite charity.
