Aunt Iva was a dear aunt to my mother and I. My mom spoke of her often with great affection, and remembrances of good times together. She is a giant in my memories from early childhood as a sweet, gentle, loving woman who personified all that I loved and respected as an example of a true Southern Belle. Few people are so widely liked as she was. So many of us have been blessed forever by her presence in our lives, and I am grateful for her, her faith, and the way she taught us to live.
My love and condolences to all,
Duane Bryant
(Son of Shirley Merrell Bryant, who was daughter of Zade Merrell)
