James Anthony Mickalunas

James Anthony Mickalunas, 52, of Marcelina Dr., Fairview, NC, died Wednesday, March 7, 2001 in the Hospice Solace Center in Asheville, NC. Mr. Mickalunas, a native of Fairview, is a son of Wylma Tweed Mickalunas, also of Fairview. He was a former resident of Jacksonville, FL for twenty-five years until returning to Fairview in 1995. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America in Jacksonville, FL and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Angela Longino Mickalunas; a son Jimmy Mickalunas of Fairview and a sister Betty Lindsey of Fairview. A memorial service will be Thursday, March 8, 2001 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian, 72 Long Shoals Rd., Arden, NC. An additional memorial service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2001, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Hardage Giddens Funeral Home, 850 N. St. Johns Bluff Rd.,Jacksonville, FL.
