James Donald Huskey, 62, of Union Mills, died on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Hospice of Rutherford County.
Mr. Huskey is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Craig Huskey; 8 children; 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home, Tunnel Road.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 – 8:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Veteran's Cemetery,

May Gods peace be with you and comfort you and the family
I don’t know if you are Dodald ‘Duck’ Huskey or not. But a
few weeks ago the Lord put you on my heart in remembering the gospel
music ministry we were once a part
of with the Dale Carter Singers. I
wanted to talk with you but couldn’t locate you. If this is my
former friend in Christ then I pray
God will comfort those you left here a while longer. Would love to be with you in that heavenly choir.
