James Edward Frisbee

A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Will and Etta Lee Harrell Frisbee.  He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a retired employee of Asheville Packing and attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

He is survived by a sister, Dorothy Bloch of Easley, SC; a brother, Reuben Frisbee of Asheville and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Woodrow Frisbee and by two sisters Barbara Fore and Sylvia Roberts.

Services will be 11 am Saturday in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church conducted by the Revs. A.W. Jones and George Lindsey.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Friday at Groce Funeral Home where Mr. Frisbee will remain until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
