RIP my friend. Will always remember the ball card shows we visited throughout the South, especially the one in Tenn Feb 1993. We both decided winter was over, then the blizzard hit in March. Prayers and thoughts to your family.

Adele took care of Jimmy, Jimmy took care of Adele, and you, Phyllis, took care of them both. Jimmy was a member of the Enka Class of 1961. I saw him in various settings after high school: umpiring softball games at Sand Hill Elementary, Hominy Valley Rec. Park, and Enka High School; putting out American Flags on 19-23 during holidays; selling Poppies for Veterans at BI-LO and Ingles; mowing the yard and grounds at the VFW building on Pisgah Highway; and, at our high school reunions. He brought a large picture frame filled with pictures of his son as a small child for me to see once. He loved that boy!! The EHS Class of 1961 will remember him always.
