We only knew Jim briefly, but always enjoyed his company. Our hearts go out to Candy, Kuma, and the rest of Jim’s family.
I attended Montreat with Jim and enjoyed serving with him on the Hugo Relief Team in 1989. He was a great man and will be missed.
Jim was like a brother to me in earlier times. I’ll miss his laughter and the late night conversations. I hope to see him again someday. Until then, Jim you will be deeply missed. I’ll keep you in my thoughts and remember all the good times we had together.
Jim, you were one of the greatest men I have ever known. You will always be in my memory and heart.
To Carolyn: I can never with every word of any language express to you my sympathies and apologies. The world lost a stellar, evolved, intelligent, kind being whose presence and contributions to this world can never be duplicated nor forgotten. I still consider him chief among humans as i always have. I hope you are doing as well as can be expected and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Not a day passes that i don’t think of him. To Mrs. Elder, thank you for the timely matter of contacting me for the memorial service…it was so very important to me to be able to say goodbye..as sometimes we only get one chance….i will never forget the extra effort you put forth in seeing that this became a reality… With love for Jim, Always, Kim Norris
