James Stanley “Jimmy” Ingle, 51, of 2349 Chimney Rock Road, Hendersonville, died Sunday, June 25, 2006, at St. Joseph Campus, Mission Hospitals.
Mr. Ingle was born in Buncombe County and was a son of John Ingle and the late Connie Sharp Ingle. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Eula King, Helen McDaris and Ellen Banks. He was a self employed truck driver who used the CB handle, “Sleepy.”
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two daughters, Sandra Justus and her husband, Matthew and Machelle Jackson and her husband, Wayne; two grandchildren, Lucas and Klaire; five sisters, Phyllis Stewart, Diane Ingle, Louise Waycaster, Dean Jones and June McAbee; three brothers, Danny Payne, Paul Jones and Jerry Jones; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Leon Stewart, Bryan Melton and Eugene Dodd officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
His family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Sleepy will be missed by a true friend. I remember all the great talks we would have at Habco. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
