Jennie Stuart Hylton

Jennie Stuart Hylton, 83, formerly of Case Cove Road, Candler, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at a local hospital. A native of Canton, she was a daughter of the late Mark L. and Sue Wheelon Stuart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. Forest Hylton, Sr. who died in 1987. She was retired from Minico Laundry. Mrs. Hylton is survived by two sons, Tony Taylor and his wife Jewell of Candler and Jack Taylor and his wife Gail of Hendersonville; a step-son, Calvin Hylton, Jr. of Candler; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at Piney Mountain United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Roy Houston officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 8:30 pm Friday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
