Kathy, so sorry for your loss. I know it is a hard loss. I have been there as you know…God has brought me through to this point and continues to help me walk that lonesome path daily. May God give you the strength that you need to walk it….know that there are people that love you and are praying…I know we dont speak often, but you are in my prayers…May the strong hand of God reach down and pick you up and keep you in his care…as a song I heard recently says ‘Lord I know I should be standing on my own, but right now, will you please just pick me up and hold me while I cry.’ We all need this sometime…

Carroll was our neighbor and friend for many years. We were very shocked to learn of his death. Our prayers are with your family.
I just now found out about my dear friend, Carroll Owenby. We went back to high school years playing basketball at Reynolds and we stayed in touch over the years. Our Dads grew up together. So, Carroll and I were second generation buddies. This is a big loss for me. My deepest sympathy to the family. ‘J. Carroll’ will be greatly missed. Gerry Huntley (Class of ’65).
