Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Jessie was a dear friend and classmate. She is rejoicing with Jesus, friends and loved ones; she will be missed by family and friends; she is now reunited with Dale, whom she loved so much. May God richly bless ALL of you; won’t be long until you will be joined with her.

  2. Jessie Cole was one of my mentor teachers at Johnston Elementary School in 1978. She took me under her wing and supported me through my days as a beginning teacher. I loved Jessie. She was a master teacher and loved teaching. I will always remember our years teaching 3 rd grade together.

    • Aunt Jessie was one of my favorite people! She was one of those souls who brighten the day for anyone around her; I’ll always remember her beautiful smile and heart. Save me a seat up there dearest aunt!

  3. I taught with Jessie for many years at Johnston. When I was a beginning teacher she nurtured me and made sure I was doing okay in those scary months of my first year. She was awesome as a friend and as a colleague. Education needs teachers like Jessie who cares deeply about the students and her colleagues. She was a jewel of a person.

  4. Aileen, I am so sorry to hear of the death of your sister. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Ila Ball Teague

  5. We are sorry for your loss. I’m a nephew of Dale Cole. Jessie was always a pleasure to talk with. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
    Love,
    Phil and Waynette Sorrells
