Jessie Marie Embler

Jessie Marie Embler, 89, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Black Mountain Neuro Medical Treatment Center.

Miss Embler was born January 4, 1932, in Asheville, to the late Lloyd and Mary Jo Ferguson Embler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley (Mrs. George) Buckner and a nephew, Charles Rodney Buckner.

Surviving are her brother, Joe F. Embler and his wife, Nancy; niece, Judy Buckner Cody and her husband, Mark; nephew, Geoff Embler and his wife Stephanie; great-nieces and nephew, Camile Warren, Carolyn Rives, Stefanie Hill, Kori Whitley and Chase Buckner; and Rodney’s wife, Kim Buckner.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Green Hills Cemetery with Pastor Allen Rash officiating. The service will be live streamed on Facebook.com/GroceFH.
