JESSIE M. MELTON Arden ~ Jessie Morgan Melton, 96, of Arden, left her Earthly bonds on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harold Melton, Jr and son, Harold Dennis Melton. Jessie lived the last 56 years in Arden and was a charter member of Arden First Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Darrell Wayne Melton and his wife, Connie; one granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Hargrove and her husband, Brandon; one grandson, Justin William Melton and his wife, Mamta, as well as great-grandchildren, Mollie and Landon Melton. She is also mourned by nieces, nephews and special friends, Dot Carter, Belle Reina, Mary Ellen Wood and Paul Hunt and his wife, Pauline to name a few. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Shepherd Memorial Park in Naples. Flowers are appreciated, but for those who desire, memorial donations may be made in Jessie's memory to Arden First Baptist Church, 3839 Sweeten Creek Road, Arden, NC 28704. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
